Wonderful Bush Experience at Leopards Lair Bush Lodge

We recently stayed at Leopards Lair Bush Lodge for just one day and had a fantastic experience. The lodge has only three rooms, which gives it a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. We stayed in Room 3, which was incredibly spacious, with four beds spread across two rooms, along with two washrooms—one featuring a lovely outdoor shower that added to the bush vibe.

The lodge is equipped with a common kitchen, which was convenient for preparing our meals since our booking didn’t include any. There’s also a small pool, ideal for cooling off after a day of exploring. The lodge is located inside a wildlife estate, and we even spotted impalas and giraffes during our walks around the property!

Although we didn’t use any additional services during our short stay, the lodge manager was very helpful. They can assist with booking safaris and arranging pick-up and drop-off services, which is a great convenience for guests.

One tip: it's best to check in before 5 PM, as it can get quite secluded after sunset, making it harder to navigate the area.

We LOVE this place! Words cannot describe how happy we felt when we were there. The lodge is situated in the bush, which gives you that safari feeling. We could hear hyenas at night! There are only 4 or 5 bungalows which we really loved, since it gives a homely and private feeling. Simeone is the best host. She gave us so much good advice and arranged awesome sunrise and sunset game drives for us. Breakfast is delicious! It’s also possible to prebook dinner. Simeone prepared two beautiful meals for us in a romantic setting in the garden. Even a braai! We also appreciated the service of the other staff (2 beautiful ladies).
