Mountain View Safari Lodge — Hotel in Maruleng Local Municipality

Our stay at Mountain View was absolutely perfect. From the stunning views to being greeted by Giraffe on arrival. Corkwood Camp was ideal for the two of us, with a cosy bedroom and beautiful outdoor bathroom. The plunge pool was ideal for down time in between early morning bush walks with Gerhard and a beautiful sky safari where we learned so many insightful things. Perfect relaxing time. Friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Great location for a beautiful town with lovely restaurants. Charlotte also arranged two days trips for us, one was a safari with Pridelands where we were lucky enough to see Lion and the other was Elephant Moments which was the most amazing experience. Highly recommend Mountain View and we cannot wait to book again...

Just a fabulous experience overall. Charlotte was so helpful not only through the booking process but also just in general helping to navigate the whole travel process with COVID. She truly went above and beyond. Tyron the manager was great, and the property is simply amazing. Clamping in the African bush with all the amenities you need and an awesome pool! Only regret is we wish we could have stayed longer. My son left his backpack behind and we were unable to retrieve it and Charlotte went out of her way to PayPal us the money that was in it as well as facilitate getting us a quote to mail it back to us in the US. Truly great experience...
