Bougain Villa Guesthouse — Hotel in Masilonyana Local Municipality

Had booked in advance. Arrived and was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, Cindy. I had booked a single room and was given a very nice room in the courtyard. Nice size for one person and the aircon was very welcome as it was a very hot day. Parking was right outside my room and was under cover in a locked courtyard. They no longer serve evening meals but the young lady in the bar recommended a very nice take away cafe which served very nice food at a great price.They were very happy for me to bring the food in to the bar so that I could enjoy it with my cold beer.||Breakfast the next morning was not a sumptuous buffet but was very adequate for my needs. The place is very neat, affordable for good quality and breakfast is tasty. My husband I arrived there at 19H30, having a detour on our trip, needing a place to rest before continuing our trip the next day. The kitchen was already closed, even though the signs states a later time than 19H30 . We ended up having to buy pies at a garage, for dinner.The receptionist on duty was very welcoming, but unfortunately the hostess was very unfriendly. My husband and I went for a drink after we unpacked and the bar-lady's attitude was just as bad as the hostess'. We booked this guesthouse while driving from the Zim border. |Our host was so nice and quick with her communication.|We arrived late on Saturday night. She was ready to welcome us and show us the accommodation, which we had to ourselves.|As we had arrived after 7pm all the local eateries were closed so she had made provision for us to use the breakfast room, equipped with a microwave to eat our dinner. |Before she left she provided us with wine glasses and explained the security. ||Our cars were fully packed with tents and personal items but they were parked under cover and were fully secure.||Would recommend staying. |Very comfy...
