Jolani Guesthouse — Hotel in Matjhabeng Local Municipality

I was booked for 2 nights by my employer. I was attending a course in Welkom. I vowed not to ever set my foot in this bnb. The rooms were too small, and the bathroom had no window or any form of ventilation. Everything done in the bathroom comes to the tiny bedroom. The shower water handles were broken, and I had to ask the staff to assist in opening the water for me every time I wanted to shower. The way they did it so quickly showed that it has been like that for a long time that they got used to operating it in that condition, such an inconvenience! The bedding they used was very old and dirty. The food was worse. They served the same dinner for 2 consecutive nights, which is a huge dry steak, pork, dry chips, and maize. The breakfast was not as bad, but you just don't get a chance to choose what you want but eat what they decide to serve you in their style of cooking and portions.

The swimming pool was dirty. This place needs a serious renovation. They just can't operate this bnb with bedding they bought 30 years ago if at all they value their clients. The standard color of bnb bedding is white. The dark brown they chose makes the rooms look dull, and it's convenient for...
