Monica's Guest House — Hotel in Matjhabeng Local Municipality

Should be called Monica's "Truck Stop " not one of the Premier rooms booked looks like the pictures. |Dirty, not maintained. Place is delapetated falling apart. Pictures must be from many years ago. |Bathroom tiles miss in the shower with sharp edges, dangerous.. Black mold every where huge health risk. No drain plug. Shower curtain filthy. |Walls in corners well just look at the pictures. |From the minute of booking it was a struggle to get any further information. The Chinese lady just doesn't care about any guest. Very poor communication from her part. |Beds very cheap quality and extremely hard. Ceilings full of dirt marks. |We requested to use the braai area the following evening and even suggested to pay one of the staff to do this.... not done. |Lastly to gain access is another mission. Nobody answers the gate bell. You have to phone the only number available and hope someone answers. People hooting at the gate the whole night long. |Avoid at all costs if you value your health,...

Very poor. The rooms don't deserve the 🌟 starts they said they have. 1- the bed sheet are not ironed. 2- the rooms are not clean. 3- the wifi is too poor loses connectivity all the time. 4- the blankets are smelly. Old and not changed on regular basis. 5-the coffe. Sugar. And powdered milk are too old even if you shake them they don't move at all. 6-the bathroom is 😭🙄🥴 7- gate uses one remote and all the time you need to go in and out you will need to look for the person who's having the remote to come and open for you. 8-DStv losses connection all the time. 9-kitchen - 🚶 😭😩 there is always smell that comes from the kitchen all in the morning. Sheets were dirty and worn out. Dead cockroaches. Interior needs an upgrade to match the exterior. ( wardrobe is old Tàni Maria fashion, plumbing/ pipes are coroded, shower needs a better drainage. One stands in a pool of water while showering) No UTENSILS, CUTLERY in the room, ONE TOWEL in the room. NO IRON

Reception is always left unattended. BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED, you pay for it. It's sub-par ( no seasoning, condiments and it's oily). Tv is open view and wi-fi disconnects 60% of the time. Pin plug is already full, bring your own.

The ecstatics only exist outside the house, with the pool and round house. Room met the standard of what's referred to as a poorly maintained motel as shown in American movies...

Stuff is friendly though and shower...
