Highly secured with good access control. 24 hours security. Reception is friendly. Available 24/7 at help desk by phone. Supervisor is very experienced. Good problem solving skills. The hotel is very clean. Good quality food by friendly chef and caring waiters. Lovely yard. Police station just behind the hotel, meaning double security. There are many conference halls, I saw about 3. There is free wifi provided. Clean linen. Good bed and quality pillows. Extra blanket provided TV with some DSTV channels. There is air-conditioning appliance. Nice study table, chairs, and comfortable light. Phone available on bed side with all numbers to dial for assistance. Ensuit toilet with shower. Hot water available. Noticed they have cameras on corridors for our safety. I also loved the lift for ascending and descending from the first floor to ground. Would be good for wheel chair access. You might need to mind your step when you enter the bathroom. I was in room A14. I hit my toe when entering and it bled a bit. The edge on the entrance may need to be covered with some plastic shield on the floor step. I enjoyed tea and coffee in the room available as self service. Towels were clean. There was soap, body wash, and conditioner. Lastly, very quiet. There is no noise in this hotel and you feel the luxury and class. Good value for money with lovely decor. I stayed at Ngwenya Hotel for 8 nights and the experience was out-of-this-world, everyday! The hotel is located very close to the N12 Highway (very easy to locate). From outside you can tell that this establishment is well kept. Very clean and secure. From the gate, you are greeted with a smile. From management to staff, very professional and the service is mind blowing. The rooms are very cozy. The beds are so comfortable I overslept a couple of times. The rooms have flat screen TVs, tea/ coffee making facilities, very clean bathrooms. The food is amazing, from breakfast, lunch to dinner. The hotel has excellent state-of-the-art conference venues, I couldn't fault Ngwenya on anything. There is FREE WiFi in all the conference venues. Very expensive for 3 Star establishment. Room was merely standard, no shower soap - two soap cakes & 2 body lotions. Hot/cold indication on shower tap reversed forcing unnecessary water usage waiting for hot water. Location of room extremely poor - had to walk through “youth hostel” section & actually go outside & back inside to access room.
