I stayed there last week Tuesday... the sliding door did not open or close and had to unplug the fridge cause it was making such a noise. ||||This is however not my major complaint. ||When i woke up in the morning, i went to take a shower, only to find out that there was no hot water. I washed my face and had to be on my way as to attend a work meeting in a hurry. ||When i went thru to the reception to pay, i had expressed my disappointment to the person behind the counter (Jacques Viljoen). I had stated that i thought it best to review the price i was about to pay for the room, because the price also includes hot water. ||This character was disturbingly aggressive and disrespectful. He was not even remotely prepared to even apologize for the inconvenience, and simply said that the geyser was broken and that i should just go and shower in another room. Anyway, to make a long story short, this person ended up shouting, screaming and swearing at me. Telling me to just pay and leave.||||Well, i am still in a state of disbelief on how this person conducted himself toward me, as if he was the victim and i had done something wrong or something. ||||A person of this caliber should most certainly not be in the hospitality industry(that is for sure) ||I travel quite extensively and pass thru there very often ||This is not the first time that i have stayed there, but will definitely be the last. ||||I really do not see this place succeeding as a lodge or anything really, with a person like that working there ||||I will never ever return to this establishment. ||Heads up to anyone else wanting to...

Tessa - Kwanyoni Lodge Subject: Exceptional Customer Service and Exemplary Leadership by Tessa

I am delighted to write this glowing review for Tessa, the epitome of exceptional customer service and outstanding managerial skills. During our recent experience, Tessa orchestrated a delightful buffet dinner with her excellent staff on her side , that was not just tasteful, but also a testament to her professionalism and dedication to Kwanyoni Lodge, her customers, and her fellow staff members!.

Tessa's polite and friendly demeanor made our interaction with her effortless and enjoyable. She possesses the rare ability to engage in meaningful conversations, making us feel valued as customers. Her proficiency in managing her team was evident, as her staff mirrored her warmth and efficiency.

Tessa's magnetic personality and genuine kindness added an extra layer of charm to our dining experience. The delicious food served was a reflection of her commitment to quality and culinary expertise. It's not just the food that makes an buffet afternoon memorable, but the people behind it, and Tessa and her team truly stood out.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tessa for her exceptional customer service skills, leadership qualities, and unwavering dedication to creating remarkable experiences. She is undeniably an asset to any company fortunate enough to have her on board. Tessa's passion for her work, coupled with her remarkable interpersonal skills, deserves recognition and appreciation at the highest level.

Warm regards,

Charlene...

I would like to express my disappointment in the quality of service I have received at Kwanyoni Lodge.

The initial booking process was tedious and frankly unproductive. Nevertheless, I made the booking and proceeded to make the payment.

Upon arrival the staff was rude and unhelpful, there was no hot water and my room booking was incorrect. I had booked a room with a double bed, instead we were taken to a room with two single beds moved against each other made up with single bed linen. One of the beds didnt even have a fitted sheet.

Upon further inspection of the room we noticed that the taps in the bathroom was loose, and the floors hadn’t been washed in what looked like weeks.

The next morning, we woke up to find that this time there was no water at all, and the staff was once again, rude and reluctant to help.

When checking out we got stuck at the gate and were informed that we needed a ticket to be able to exit. We went back to reception to get the ticket and the staff, instead of helping, laughed me out and treated me like a practical joke.

This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Needless to say I will encourage anyone who asks, to book accommodation elsewhere rather than at your so called ‘four star...

Very serene environment. Little ponies prancing around the property. The food was incredible! I’d definitely recommend trying the snails with the creamy sauce, we just couldn’t get enough. The portions are really big, which is always a win when the food is this good. The prices are quite reasonable for the portioning and quality of food that you get. Burger was juicy, and you could really taste that smokiness, which I love. The staff could’ve been a bit more service oriented and they were friendly enough but we did have to get up and look for the waiter a few times. Overall I’d definitely come back. Perfect for Sunday lunches with friends or family.

No value for money. Booking the room itself was difficult enough, had to deal with very unhelpful and slow to respond staff. Received two invoices with different amounts and made to pay the second, more expensive one. Arrived to a room where it was obvious that no inspection was done by management before we checked in. We asked for a double bed, had to sleep on two single bed mattresses placed on a double bed's base. The room needs basic maintenance, something one would expect to have been done before Innibos. We complained upon checking out, only to hear them laughing as we left. Not a pleasant experience at all

The receptionist was rude and arrogant, payment made at the gate with security without a uniform. R950 per room for 2 with no aircon, the fan is not properly attached, no microwave in the room. Only teabags and 1 sugar sachet. The tv just play etv and very poor screen. The beds are old and very uncomfortable, woke up as if i was doing hard labour. Strategic location, beautiful gate painting and nice garden. I think is good for day visit.
