Where is the zero star option...How rediculous that in the middle of the hot summer, you are told you may not use your air conditioner in your room... no reason, just instruction.
When walking into the room after dinner, the aircon was on, when going to bed it was turned off, for the guest...no option of turning it on again.
Insult to injury is... on the morning of checkout, after sweating the entire night because no aircon.... There is no water.
So no aircon, no water, no communication, no care...
Do not book here, you WILL be disappointed.
The owners responded but took away my option to respond...its as laughable as turning off the air conditioning on your clients...
How sad for you as owners to be more concerned about me being in your database than knowing when you switched off your guests aircon, and knowing the water was off this week without you communicating it... How sad for you that your response is not one of care but of defence and degrading the person who exposes your below standard offering. How sad that you think instead of taking accountability and then removing my option to respond to it, will make it better? You actually think insulting me and dropping the mic is...
Read moreOnly a short sporty drive from Nelspruit and we entered the lush jungle and found this hidden gem. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating! They quickly responded to any inquiries and are very interested in ensure guests feel safe and welcome. We stayed in the treehouse; which we adored. If you have ambulatory issues; I wouldn’t recommend staying in this room; but otherwise the set up is complete jungle immersion. Full disclosure… the highway is audible from the hillside; but I assume that would be true at any property overlooking the river valley. The approach is bumpy, as advertised, but we made it without worry in a small mini economy micro rental. Probably would upgrade our rental car for the Kruger Park and the road next time…but it was not a problem..just something other visitors might consider if self-driving the park as well as enjoying this lovely accommodation. Bed was comfy, linens were clean and high quality. We were pleased and surprised that we didn’t need any bug spray! We self catered and ate dinner in our little piece of heaven both nights!...
Read moreLoerieRoep is a beautiful and tranquil retreat surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly appealing, with lush greenery, big trees, and fresh grass creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for nature lovers seeking a serene getaway.
However, there were several drawbacks during my stay. Unfortunately, the accommodation lacked air-conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in warmer weather. The toilet was loosely mounted to the floor, and the bathroom basin was unstable, which made using the facilities inconvenient.
Another concern was the presence of guard dogs roaming the premises. While the owners mentioned the dogs don’t bite, the situation made me feel uneasy. Additionally, the gravel road leading to the accommodation is challenging to navigate unless you have a 4x4 or SUV. Sedans and hatchbacks might struggle due to the uneven terrain and rocks.
While the natural beauty and calm atmosphere are definite highlights, addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall...
