Our first stay at Perry's Bridge Hollow Boutique Hotel. What a pleasant surprise. We've frequented Hazyview at a timeshare resort for over to 40 years and never in our wildest dreams thought we'd experience Hazyview on such a different level. We were welcomed with open arms. Check-in was a dream. We were shown to a dedicated area, to sit and enjoy wine, coffee or juice and cake. The room is spacious, beautiful decor. The bed comfortable and the pillows too. The bathroom has an inside and outside shower and is spacious. It's good to have a safe in the room, as well as a coffee pod machine. Bar fridge, too. The verandah area overlooking the lush garden is a pleasant way to start and end the day. Birdlife abundant, it drowns out the busy R40. We will most certainly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Excellent 2 night stay as a stop-over between game lodges in order to tour the Panoramic Route. The facilities at the hotel were clean and comfortable. The room was spacious with an enormous king-size bed, unusually but very conveniently, positioned in the centre of the room. The en-suite was well equipped and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager and his assistant were outstanding. We arrived early before the room was ready. We were made most welcome by the manager and offered drinks and light snacks in a delightful orangery in the gardens. We received excellent help from the manager's assistant to arrange unexpected PCR tests for our onward flight. One of the hotel restaurants is called Kuda. We had breakfast there and two excellent evening meals.

Wow!! Is the only way to describe our stay!! As someone that loves to go out and explore I made the decision to stay at Perry’s Bridge hotel. I cannot stop ranting about how extremely professional the staff was, the level of professionalism is a scarce commodity these days. From being offered pool service to bringing you a pool towel. There rooms are exquisite, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Before we check in we were offered something to drink oh and let’s not forget the chocolate cake! Whilst they checked if our room was ready for us. I would like to thank the manager and her team for the professionalism they showed us during our visit and I would most certainly recommend you to everyone that asks.

The room was not clean; the bathroom was nasty and full of tiny cockroaches!!

We arrived at 7 pm, and we called the receptionist to ask for room service, but they told us, “THERE IS NO HOUSEKEEPING AFTER 4 PM,” so they sent us a guy who sprayed insecticide, but the next day, tiny cockroaches appeared again in the bathroom.

The reception only had one receptionist who was very polite and trying to help, but he had no experience solving problems, which is unacceptable in a 4-star hotel.

The restaurants and furniture are very dull and old, and there is no entertainment; the food was okay (not impressive), but the vibes of the place were depressing, and the sad part was that you don’t have any other option to go other than these restaurants.

The lodge and rooms are outdated, the furniture is torn, and it needs much maintenance, especially in the swimming pool area.

The lodge is full of big wild cats in the garden that won’t allow you to rest or sleep.

I noticed that the security guy was very sweet and welcoming. While securing our gate during the night shift, he was sitting on a big brick on the floor in the cold weather with no humanity instead of being provided with at least a chair and umbrella.

Our reservation was for a bed and breakfast; the breakfast was a set menu with a strange mix of food that didn’t match.

In conclusion, this place is very disappointing, and I wonder how they got this rating; although it is a four-star hotel, and I heard many good things about it but to be honest, I can only...

I don't usually like traveling over long weekends cause places can get so full and overwhelming, but with being locked up at home because of the COVID19 pandemic, it was time to get out once some of the restrictions were gone. So I did something that I don't normally do and I didn't regret it! It was my first time visiting Mpumalanga and wanted to experience all I could and Perry's Bridge Hollow was the best place to relax and rest after all our activities (we stayed from the 24th to 26th Sept 2021). The rooms were well decorated, the bed was super super spacious for me and my husband. When we first drove in the atmosphere was a bit overwhelming cause the are many resturants and stores filled with tourists like us, but once you get your room key and drive into the hotel, it was paradise! So green, so clean, so quiet and and it felt secluded even though the hot is situated next to one of Hazyview's main road, we didn't mind at all. The hotel staff were so friendly and greeted us everytime we passed them or they assisted us. The breakfast, which came with the booking was served at their resturant Kuka. The breakfast was self-serve and had a chef to order from too, everything...
