Fochville Guesthouse — Hotel in Merafong City Local Municipality

Rooms 5/5 although had a bit of a problem with some of the ceiling fans in 2/5 rooms we rented. Location is nice and close to the main road as well as a few restaurants close by.

Service was poor. Manager/Owner gave us a bad attitude when we asked if the breakfast that was served was enough for the amount of guests we had. When looking for him after calling a few times for service we found him in the kitchen but instead of helping to resolve the issue we where chased out of the kitchen like children. Still afterwards we had to ask for simple things that was not enough for our guests(cereal, milk, bread, butter, hot water).

We had a few other minor things that needed help with but was a struggle to find service most of the time.

When visiting Fochville again I would rather take my family and guests...

The owner was outstanding in the way she conducted herself towards me.

She went out of her way finding me a place to sleep over when I was in desperate need to find accommodation as everything was fully booked.

Over and above she paid for the accommodation to avoid me loosing it !

The room was super clean and had all the features you would expect in a five star hotel. The bed was outstanding, and let us not forget the home made pies she prepares for her late guests arrivals that had a long trip.

Well done to the Fochville guest house team, five star...

This to say a big thank you to Fochville Guesthouse for an amazing, one of a kind experience with our stay there. From the first step into the Guesthouse making you feel at home away from home, but very stylish and classful. The Food, service, staff and accommodation facility is top notch, the best. It is also so well situated close to the main road on easy for us to continue our jerouney from there. Just a big thank you to Amanda and staff you will see us soon...
