We are a tour operator, and we have been visiting Loch Maree every year. The always stay in the field camp. The campsite are spacious, there is a lapa that offers a braai area and kitchen, and everything is always extremely neat and clean. We even get greeted and welcomed with a freshly baked home made bread. The 4x4 trail is always a treat with amazing views, and we get to play with our 4x4's in the dunes! Our chalet did not lack anything - massive fridge, deep freeze, microwave, ice machine, etc. Great outside braai, enough descent braai wood, grids, cleaning gear, etc. We drove to a lovely lookout point overlooking a salt pan and dunes for sun downers.
