Our family unit that was booked was given to other guests. When arriving the upbrupt, obnoxious receptionist treated us with MUCH disdain. Her tone was unacceptably not hospitality friendly as expected for a hospitality industry staff member. She spoke over us, was blatantly rude & demeaning towards us from the first engagement upon arrival. Her response to us querying the incorrect accommodation was: "I'm Just A Volunteer". She said there is no manager on duty to escalate.
We were later accommodated & the owner resolved our matter.
We addressed the receptionist behavior with the owner however the rude behavior continued and worstened when walking past the reception area due to the side gate not working, we we shouted at ; "Dont you havd a key???" When asking for a toilet paper at the front desk the rude receptionist asked in an annoyed tone " Did the cleaner not give us one??" The poor uber eats guy was also also treated poorly by the frontline receptionist.
This staff member is detrimental to any hospitality establishment, has no tact, no people skills and added a bitter taste to our whole weekend.
