Insingizi Spa was something I did not expect. To be very honest, it is a hidden gem in Mid illovo. I was amazed at the huge area with treatment rooms everywhere outside and the scenery from the rooms are spectacular. I love that you can eat there as well because they have a great lounge area as well as a dining area. The showers and change rooms are super cool! You have your own locker. The amenities that are provided are endless. From deodorant to ear buds and many more. Robes and slippers are used before your treatment. The treatment I had was, to be honest.... I had a midweek overnight stay at the lodge, and 2 spa treatments. My room was lovely. I enjoyed it very much. There was no free wifi on the premises and no fridge in the room. The bathroom and outdoor showers were gorgeous.

The lodge was very noisy. There was construction happening, improvements and cleaning happening during my spa treatments. Cleaning was done around me in-between my treatments.

The food was mostly OK. I enjoyed their creme brulee, veggies and soup.

My stay felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The staff were polite but distracted with all the work they were doing cleaning and moving furniture and planning other events.

Perhaps after renovations, the experience for future guests will be much improved. I guess I went at the wrong time and...

Insingizi Spa & Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem.Nadia & Lushce have such great welcoming and hospitality aura which automatically makes you feel so much at home at Insingizi. We had a family getaway - great place for kids , we saw a lot of small game like zebra and buck literally a few steps away which was amazing .Beautiful scenery and air automatically feels so fresh. We had a great hike which was breathtaking and there’s a little dam for fishing . The Food here is 6 stars or move — absolutely homefull and they not shy at all with portions . My husband really enjoys his spa session on his birthday and they made a little cake for him . I have to say all in all it was an amazing weekend . Perfect destination for couples...
