As we do not travel in peak season, this was our last trip for 2015. We were a bit concerned when we ended up in a small suburb as the website described the place as a 'bush lodge'. However, once inside the gates, we were not disappointed! The view is absolutely incredible and the rock pool is just as fantastic as the pictures on the website. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the yard with all of it's 'natural decor' (interesting bits of wood), amazing plants and flowers. The room itself is very basic - just a double bed, television, dressing table and chair and another table with a microwave. Unfortunately both units are built on to the owner's house and are right next to each other. The walls are paper thin so there is not much privacy. We were lucky that the couple that were staying next door went out for the afternoon so we had the entire place to ourselves. However on the Monday morning there were quite a few people (boarders from what I can gather) on the deck so we didn't even ask for a later check-out.

What an amazing getaway. Such a peaceful place and it makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. John is also such an amazing host, super attentive and accommodating. Please go visit if you are looking for a out of city getaway, relax and rejuvenation vibes

This is a hidden gem. On the outskirts of camperdown, just 5 minutes from the highway you can find this beautiful little bnb. With a lovely warm breakfast and a friendly owner it's the perfect little getaway.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Leopards and Louries Bush Lodge. We were looking for accommodation which was in close proximity to Tala Game Reserve (25 min drive) and came across Leopards and Louries Bush Lodge on the internet. We arrived at our destination at what appeared to be a “normal” property in the suburbs. We entered through the mostly indigenous gardens and caught a glimpse of the rim flow pool overlooking the most breathtaking valley and at once felt as if we were in the bush. The rooms all overlook this stunning view and are equipped with a coffee/tea station, microwave and bar fridge. The rooms are clean and beds very comfy. A very enjoyable cold and hot breakfast is served. We made a special arrangement to make use of their boma and braai area on our first night and enjoyed a delicious chicken curry on the second night, this was pre-arranged. John Jackson, the host, and his staff went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Leopards and Louries will definitely...
