Lekkerbly Chalet Guest House — Hotel in Modimolle Local Municipality

after having been towed to modimolle the AA garage recommended lekkerbly whose son and ex-wife fetched us after lunch. we had already moved into the allocated room when reception informed me that they were fully booked. however they knew of another place and taxied us there at a hefty price.||unintentionally i left my car keys on the reception desk .....the following morning we wasted two hours going and searching from place to place were we we had been the day before. outside lekkerbly we rang the doorbell several times but nobody.answered; like wise no reply when we called. eventually we connected by cell phone and the owner couple happely informed me that they had found car keys on the reception desk.||since reception had booked a room at another establishment a telephone call was the minimum i expected from a suposedly enterprising person.||so definitely give it a miss next time you are...

We were booked at a lodge close to Nylstroom from 22-27 September 2024; on arrival, we found that the place was filthy and unkept. Sunday evening we started looking for alternative accommodation and got hold of Oom Koos's number.|Oom Koos and his wife Sian are the nicest, most genuine people, and they immediately made plans to accommodate in beautiful rooms. Oom Koos offered was prepared to cook us supper.|Any requests were addressed friendly and immediately by friendly staff, and meals were restaurant quality.|I would at any time recommend Lekkerbly Chalet...

A truly excellent stay with the hosts Heleen and Blacky at Lekkerbly – I can highly recommend their accommodation if ever in ModiMolle area.

Hosts met us after arriving late and welcomed us to our rooms. They showed us around and took us to their bar/restaurant. Friendly service, easy to deal with, clean as a whistle, and maintained the rooms daily. Competent hosts and staff during our 4 nights there. Don’t bother going anywhere else.
