Hi Mornè and the staff at Forum Homini & Roots restaurant.

You made me look like a rock star. Daliwam hasn't stopped glowing since the walk from check-in till today. From the warm welcome, spectacular room, dreamy bubble bath sipping on MCC, crazy awesome dinner, huge bed and amazing breakfast. So much was done right. I only give the location a 4 because we didn't stay long enough to go through the property. I would advise others that plan a night to consider coming earlier to see more, go for the hike and have a picnic lunch. The little we did see and enjoy was very nice for a place that is so close to an urban center yet so tranquil.

I tried whatsapp nights before we arrived and my partner also tried with some response but found it was better to just call. After our stay I totally understand why the whatsapp response is just fair and not outstanding - all of you are busy ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. We saw you at check in, have the letter you personally wrote for us and you served us rotating with the other waiters. We also noted a little overlook on email but it is covered well by the online check-in and the call before arrival, so nothing went wrong. Everything was perfect.

Daliwam really liked the romantic husband things with the bath salts, essential oils, chocolate and MCC in that dope room. Credit must also be given to your cleaning ninjas that sneak into the room so fast you only notice after a while that someone was in there by the clean towels, gowns, reorganized bath essentials and refilled salts. We didn't leave too much of a mess so it took some time to notice "Someone was in here." We only saw that there is cleaning staff in the morning when we borrowed the iron.

We really did enjoy our stay for our first No Kids weekend in a while... So please keep up the great work and we look forward to our next stay at Forum...

Exclusive Boutique Hotel, Conferencing venue & restaurant. Beautiful, upmarket gem hidden within Letamo Lodge. Experienced and efficient managing staff. Booking and arranging events is a breeze and handled with class and attention. Sophisticated rooms and setup. 5star Standard rooms boasting a spacious indoor bath with complementary salts and other essentials - had to pry guests out of their rooms. Rooms are spacious with an intimate but fully fitted work desk that is load-shedding proof. Fast Wi-Fi. Personal lounge area with Roku streaming services. No need for DSTV subscription or tv box. Beautiful and warm welcome. Attentive and experienced staff - well worth any service gratuity. Was worried about impact of neighbouring farms but fly issues were minimised by privacy and insect screens in the room and restaurants. Was here for an Executive Strategy Offsite. The boardroom was elegant, up-to-date with a presentation system that catered for our Windows as well as iOS users. Money well spent, guests well compensated for the time away from families. Great venue. Oh and I would be remiss for not mentioning the food!!! That was a treat and full complements to the chef and servers. Exciting presentations, 3-courses, complementary pairing, delectable meals, Michelin star quality, it’s a taste of brilliance, passion and...

We decided to book a romantic getaway for our wedding anniversary, and Forum Homini Hotel and Roots Restaurant caught our interest. The many positive reviews with 5 star ratings meant we just had to go and see for ourselves if these could be justified and confirmed. Well, we were not disappointed at all, and on the contrary, we were pleasantly surprised. From our arrival, the reception was friendly and efficient with a clear focus on customer service and hospitality. The honeymoon suite had all the expected amenities plus some adddd luxuries, such as a double open air shower, spa bath in the room, heated private outside jacuzzi, fireplace and extra large bed. Gas heaters were delivered to us to keep the winter cold oustide, and we could not tell how cold it was outside. The 5 course set dinner menu was a top-tier fine dining experience, and shef Michael and the team went above and beyond. The same trend continued with the theee course quality breakfast, and we left feeling relaxed and thoroughly satisfied. Thank you, and well done to the hands-on management and their teams for making our anniversary an experience to remember for years to come. I can highly recommend this establishment and will gladly...

Stayed here in December 2019. Booked the honeymoon suite. The room is tired and in desperate need of an update and deep clean with stained furniture and rugs. The rug at the toilet had a huge brown stain. It’s just gross. The jacuzzi didn’t work. There was no WiFi in the room and they couldn’t fix it during my stay. They don’t have Dstv and the tv option they do have needs WiFi - so basically with the WiFi problems, you have no tv in the room. They also have a fly problem - they explain the reasons and have instituted some things to try and treat it blah blah blah - but they still have a huge issue. So it’s unpleasant to go outside or try and eat at the restaurant. The restaurant standard has also slipped significantly. I have dietary restrictions so asked for fish or veg - you get the same chunk of fish with slightly varied vegetables course after course. Breakfast is R225 and all I got was an omelette with a teeny bit of cheese and tomato and a single baby potato! Completely overpriced. This used to be one of my favorite places for a weekend getaway, but unfortunately it is now just unpleasant and overpriced. The wait staff do try really hard to assist though.

We spent a birthday night last week at Forum Homini & Roots Restaurant. Arriving late afternoon, we were greeted by Michael, who took the little luggage we had, showed us to reception, and then onto the room, we had upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and wow, what a treat. Warm water pool, jacuzzi, two fireplaces, same as bathrooms, kitchenet, lounge, dining room, and a patio and our own private lake, with antelope in close vicinity enjoying the sunset as much as we were. Our suite was away from the other rooms in a more private area. Ready for 1830 dinner in the restaurant, overlooking yet another lake, we encountered Michael again, who as it turns out, is the sommelier. He guided us through a fabulous meal with wine pairing, 5 courses in total, delicious food. A relaxing night in the suite, beds turned down with hot water bottles and fireplaces lit, our stay culminated in a three-course breakfast enjoying a winter sunrise, with fruit, cold meats, cheese, Scottish style oats and eggs and bacon. A wonderful experience a mere 45min from the hustle of bustle of Sandton.
