La Moor Country Venue & Eatery — Hotel in Mogale City Local Municipality

After spending some time on the lake at Cradle Moon, I wanted to venture out and explore another venue for breakfast /brunch and La Moor did not disappoint. We were welcomed very warmly and seated outside on the deck with a view of the river and surrounding hills. The coffee was fresh (Lavazza) but we were advised that they couldn't make us anything with eggs (the breakfast menu) as the delivery hadn't arrived. So we made do with pizzas which had a great crisp base and absolutely heaving with toppings. Our coffees were graciously comped because of the no eggs situation. I highly recommend seeking out the slightly less popular places in Muldersdrift because you get treated as a staying guest of the hotel or B&B. We had a Friday wedding at Inimitable and needed a room to stay in that was affordable, within distance and offered secure parking. La Moor was an absolutely perfect fit, with an easy-to-navigate website, a super quick booking system, and the most down to earth owners that treat you like forever friends. They allowed us to book in early and we managed to sneak in a delicious burger from the restaurant before heading to the wedding in the afternoon. The room was lovely and bed comfortable, and the shower pressure was perfect to wash away a post wedding hangover.
