Gaggle Inn Guest Lodge — Hotel in Moqhaka Local Municipality

Our stay on this occasion was not a good as previous visits. Sept 2023

Our reception was efficient and friendly.

Safety and securitystill top notch.

The room was clean.

The lack of attention to detail and maintenance is beginning to show.

1 There was very little water pressure for the shower was inadequate. The shower nozzle could not be adjusted to compensate for the low pressure.

2 The toilet seat was loose.

3 Not all the globes were working

4 My major concern is that we are required to wash the crockery and cutlery in the bathroom. There is no basin in the kitchen area. Also, nodish washing liquid or drying towels are provided. It makes me wonder how hygenic the kitchen utensils are.

We want to continue using the Gaggle Inn. These issues should be easy to correct.

Previous visit. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well appointed. The Inn is well situated a few kilometres from the N1. I will stay there again when in Kroonstad. Stayed there 4 weeks ago. Maintenance is...

Wedding prep visit for 18 Dec. First time there. Place looks very well maintained gardens and clean. Some birdlife around - I saw chickens and geese (I suspect that's where the 'gaggle' comes from). Also saw two rabbits.

Lovely chapel, wedding venue (about 100 people) with a kitchen and lovely outside area. No smoking indoors or anywhere under cover.

Looks great for conferences as well and one of the rooms I saw was set up for around 24-30 people.

Paved roads, driveways and paths inside the venue, but a not so nice dirt road from the main road - about 200m. After some rain, it is quite worn. It would become a muddy mess if wet.

Stayed at the lodge for 1 night on our way to the Kruger national park. The booking process was simple and responses quick.

What makes this venue good is that it's very close to the N1 highway so easy access when leaving. You can't hear the cars on the highway though.

It's about 1.5km from a small shopping centre and filling station. There are a few take away places and ATM s .

The room has all the basic self catering facilities and has Aircon and a fan . There is also a little patio and braai.

Access is controlled by remote control gate. There is a pool on the premises and some farm animals around.
