You really get what you pay for in this place. I made my booking 2 months prior to my arrival. I chose the place because it's affordable, and it's close to SunCity, where I was attending an event. Upon my arrival, I was met by two ladies who looked like they had no idea that I'd be checking in. There was a lot going on around the yard, which was a turn-off on its own. I waited for a couple of minutes outside, and I was asked to walk to another place that is owned by the same owner because the house was 'fully booked' (puzzling, because I made my booking two months before my check-in date to avoid such). The lady and the guy who were there accompanied me to the other guesthouse (NB: it was 35°C☀️). To add insult to the injury, when we got there I was given options to choose the room I wanted and all of them were not clean, the toilets had foul smell, the showers not working properly, paint on the walls peeling, dirty ceilings, dirty blankets and tattered sheets. They didn't even have proper bedding sets. Night frills were used as sheets. Blankets were dirty. I don't even want to talk about the quality of their beds. I asked to speak to the owner so that I could be taken back to the house I paid for, but that also was too much for her. I ended up settling in one of the rooms because I was tired from traveling the whole night from East London to get there, and I had an event to attend the same day, so I needed to rest.

What stood out for me is their "I don't care" energy, especially coming from Keneilwe, the owner of the place. I remember after I chose a room I'll sleep in I asked one of the ladies to bring me clean sheets and towels and she murmured something along the lines of "this place is cheap, what did you expect?". I've slept in guesthouses within their price range, but I've never ever...

I booked there for a family of 7, this was in December just after Christmas, we were booked 3 days, we occupied 3 rooms. That place a complete disaster , I would never recommend it to anyone!! 1. There route to that house is bad and muddy and slippery when raining, no signs to the house 2.The beds are bad they need to be changed 3.The yard is completely nothing like the pictures 4. The bedding and towels should be thrown out 5. The house smells like fart 6. When we left on Sunday electricity was trapping the whole time and there was no water, we had to use buckets to bath 🙆🏽‍♀️. MY QUESTION IS WHO GAVE THAT PLACE THE STARS?? It deserves just 1 star. What a wow! What a wow! What a wow! Was very impressed with the reception i got with my sisters. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us into our rooms. Big bedrooms, clean bathrooms and exquisite accessories...nice tiled floors. Electricity available with connection points in the room. They serve breakfast as well. 2 minutes drive to suncity. Not far from the main road and amenities..had a good stay and will definitely...
