A truly magical experience at Glen Ormond for the weekend. Jennifer was an exceptional host who prepares a delicious breakfast. The view is breathtaking and rooms are well appointed and spotless. I've been to many other establishments that left much to be desired with regards to cleanliness, the attention to detail was everything. The cottage has everything one could desire or need for the weekend. Heated towels and complimentary sherry and snacks was the perfect touch. One could really see Jennifer has a passion for hospitality as it shines through in her immaculate place and gracious nature. Definitely worth it to drop by for a much needed break.

A warm and welcoming guest house. Perfect for a weekend away in the midlands. The cleanest, neatest guesthouse I have stayed at. Very well maintained and looked after. Exceptional attention to detail. The place had everything I could have needed and a bit more. The breakfast was perfect. The mushroom pot is a signature item that is included with breakfast. I can confidently recommend Glen Ormond and will hopefully be back soon for another stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Glen Ormond. Jennifer, our host was very friendly and so helpful. She has such a knowledge of the area, and had really good recommendations on where to go and what to expect. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was very spacious and so beautifully decorated. We will definitely be going back to this beautiful place.

We had such a lovely stay at Glen Ormond. Jennifer, our host was very friendly and so helpful. She has such a knowledge of the area, and had really good recommendations on where to go and what to expect. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was very spacious and so beautifully decorated. Glen Ormond is an excellently run and very comfortable B&B. I have been staying here for many years. The standards have remained consistently high. The rooms are individually decorated to a high standard. Some rooms have fire places and some have gas heaters for winter nights. In summer, fans and Air conditioning are available. Many rooms have small verandas where you can have your early morning coffee or tea overlooking the large gardens and the distant Drakensberg views. The kitchenettes are well equipped and there is cable TV in the form of DTSV. Beds are large and comfortable, linens are high quality, and there are irons, ironing boards, and towelling gowns. Breakfasts are a highlight and are brought to your room. I always look forward to...

A truly wonderful long weekend stay at Glen Ormond, August 2023. Jennifer our host was superb in making us welcome and being on hand if we required anything. Our self catering accommodation was 5 stars! Everything we needed. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, log fire as well as gas heater, king size beds were so comfortable, ensuite bathrooms were light, spacious and fab power showers ... Glen Ormond is a home from home. The veranda was well equipped with outdoor furniture and a braai. Our view of the valley was stunning and the gardens and property are beautifully maintained.
