Overdale Guest House — Hotel in Mpofana Local Municipality

We found our hostess to be more than welcoming. Because of the virus outbreak we were lucky enough to have a whole house to ourselves. Our bedroom was clean and well appointed. We had an enormous shower with hot water whenever we needed it. Two other bedrooms. One with bath and one with bath and shower. Beautifully decorated. We could make tea/coffee when over we wanted. I stored perishables in the fridge with no problem. Dee came in every morning to make us breakfast and made suggestions where to go for lunch and dinner. Thank you Dee for making the last 2 days of our holiday one...

What a pleasure! After a dodgy start meandering the Midlands, Overdale guesthouse was an oasis to our weary travelling crew. Warm hospitality and the comforts of home greeted us around every corner. Dee and Colin were the perfect hosts as they shared their love for the region and their secret "must see" list of places near by. We wished we could stay longer, even though we saw everything...some twice. Breakfast was like sitting down with family - even the kids were in awe. We would not meander midlands way again without a stay...

We have stayed at Overdale numerous times since 2006 and will continue to return. Colin and Dee are the most wonderful hosts, always making us feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the personal finishing touches make the stay so much more memorable. Dee's breakfasts are delicious! The views from the bedrooms are absolutely beautiful, especially on crisp autumn mornings. I can highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking to spend a night or longer in...
