Ibhubesi house — Hotel in Nkomazi

In July, I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning house located in the beautiful Marloth Park, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

The house itself was beautifully decorated, and the highlight is the outdoor area where wild animals often pass by.

Due to its location close to Kruger National Park, this place was perfect for our safari tours. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in their house and genuinely care about the well-being of the guests. They were always available and eager to assist if needed.

Overall, my experience at the Ibhubesi house was nothing short of incredible! I highly recommend staying here because it’s truly a hidden gem that exceeded all of my already high...

We arrived on the evening of the 12 & left 15 Jan 2024. The house was lovely & the surroundings as natural as possible.

However, it turned out to be a disaster for my family -

Windows did not lock.

The alarm was out of service.

The main bathroom/ensuite floor was completely under sewerage.

There was a sewerage stink in the whole house.

Half of our 2nd day & the entire night we had no electricity (no load shedding).

All our calls & messages went unanswered. We had to phone people in the Netherlands to get any help. We were called Karen!

Ons verblijf in het Ibhubesi House in Marloth Park was simpelweg onvergetelijk. De omgeving is adembenemend: midden in de ongerepte natuur, met het Krugerpark praktisch om de hoek. Het huis biedt een unieke ervaring waarbij je letterlijk omringd bent door wilde dieren. Het was elke ochtend een feestje om te zien hoe zebra's, kudu's en zelfs een groepje wrattenzwijnen door de tuin wandelden. We voelden ons één met de natuur, zonder in te leveren op comfort.

Het huis zelf is prachtig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken is volledig uitgerust, de woonkamer gezellig en ruim, en de bedden? Fantastisch! Na een dag vol avontuur sliepen we heerlijk in de comfortabele bedden met luxe beddengoed. Daarnaast is er veel aandacht besteed aan details, wat het verblijf extra speciaal maakte.

Wat ook opviel, was de rustige en serene sfeer. Het geluid van de bush in de avond – met het zachte geroep van een uil of het gekraak van takken in de verte – zorgde voor een onvergetelijke ervaring.
