Jacana River Lodge — Hotel in Nkomazi

We had the most amazing birthday celebrations weekend here at Jacana. From the moment you enter Mjejane Game Reserve the service was 10/10. At the lodge you are met with beautiful views over the river and we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets from the pool and wooden deck. We were entertained by two brother elephants playing the whole day just like boys do. Sometimes rough and then suddenly all good walking side by side down to the river for a drink. Had the most amazing night drive, following two lions for a long time. This trip was filled with anxiety and pure wonder. Memorable indeed! The lodge has the most beautiful rooms (with aircons)! 5-star!! And outside showers which I really enjoyed. The whole living area is an entertainers dream. (Coffee machine, ice machine, dishwasher). Spent most of the day in the pool with cocktails. Happiness and laughter. The night sounds of birds and animals were a delight. Enjoyed a truly memorable and very special weekend here. Will definitely visit...

Located at the more peaceful are of Mjejane with superb facilities. Its very hard to say what I enjoyed the most

Watching Kruger from the patio: giraffes, buffalos, hippos, elephants Infinity pool Beautiful lodge Extreme beautiful bedrooms Large covered area and sofas outdoors and indoors The best amenities: small gym, top kitchen, ice machine, cover and open air boma, pool table etc etc

I strongly encourage to book this place, you will not be dissapointed

For game views: Mjejane has excellent possibility to see big 5 and game drives can be arranged for morning and evening. As they take just a few hours you can returns to the lodge to enjoy the day and get go back to game viewing during the evening.

We stayed in Jacana River Lodge for four nights in February. Both the location as well as facilities were outstanding. You could have your breakfast on the terrace while wathing elephants bathing on the river. 🐘 The facilities include things like outdoor showers, fireplace on the terrace, air-conditioned small gym, ice machine, infinity pool to the riverside, and of course top-knotch kitchen equipped for 10 people.
