Khaya Umdani — Hotel in Nkomazi

We have stayed in Marloth Park several times, always as Guests of Louise but this was our first time at 4609 Ratel. The house was perfect for the two of us. perfectly equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, lovely big bedrooms with en suites, stunning outside area and an amazing upstairs terrace which lent itself perfectly for late evening Amarula over ice while waiting for the wildlife to come for a late evening drink out of the pool. We were amazed by the amount of animals that came to visit and were particularly happy to find a huge male giraffe in the garden one morning, happily eating the tree and peeping through the upstairs window!|Louise and her amazing staff do everything within their power to make your stay in Marloth unforgettable. Nothing is too much trouble for them! As always, I can’t wait...

We spent 2 nights in Ratel 4609, Marloth Park, and wish we could have stayed longer. We combined Marloth Park with 4 extra nights at 2 different camps in Kruger National Park itself. ||||It is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom lodge, overlooking the African bush. The lodge was very clean, and exceptionally well equipped with everything anybody could possibly want. The bed was comfy and the bath/shower was the best we’ve experienced in SA so far! Louise, our host, was so welcoming and helpful. ||||The icing on the cake was the wildlife (giraffe, zebra, kudu, wildebeest, mongoose and more) that visited us in our back garden - we didn’t need to go on game drives, they came to us! Not to mention the wonderful birdlife. Nothing beats going to sleep and waking up to the chorus of animal calls, birdsong...

This was a trip of a lifetime for my friends and it exceeded their expectations.||From the moment I booked and my conversations with Louise, I felt we were friends before we even met. She is so helpful too.||The lodge was beautiful, and sooooo well equipped. It was very clean, great location and safe. A lovely luxury lodge in the bush.||We saw loads of different animals whilst sitting on the veranda.||Check in and check out was easy and fast too.||I would certainly recommend this...
