We visited Nquthu to attend a family event and we booked for a night at this place. We chose it for its promixity to our destination and it's affordability. We were in search for a decent place to rest and freshen up along our journey and it served its purpose.||We arrived late of a Friday, where poor visibility, quite common in the area due to strong mist affected us from finding the place at first attempt but we eventually found it. The place offered us a decent underground parking (in need of some minor maintenance here and there to avoid the water from seeping through as it happened to be raining intensely on that weekend) which was a plus for us as we were worried about the noisy and busy area where we've initially parked.||The place is surprisingly beautiful, neat and welcoming coming inside. Rooms are clean, tidy and come standard with basic necessities such a shower and toilet, Dstv and coffee station. Since we got there on a Friday night, the only negative which we experienced was the noise that came from the bar/restaurant area which made our long drive from Joburg rest a bit unbearable.||We appreciated the fact that there was a restaurant which was still open at the time, which was able to assist us get dinner (nice, well cooked & delicious by the way!) to our rooms on that same night. A major plus for us was that this place was also able to accommodate a 9 year old that we had previously not accounted for on our initial booking. We called to alert them of the change and they were able to gladly assist and make necessary arrangements for us. As we were driving down from Johannesburg, their representative consistently kept calling us and checking up on us, an act of kindness which we really appreciated.||The next time you're in search of a decent and neat accommodation place around Nquthu that offers heart, a warm welcoming and won't cost an arm and a leg, look.no further...

You should consider getting backup for loadshedding, and heaters in rooms especially since its winter and your floors are tiled so it was a bit cold. However electric blankets were provided and kept us warm. The location is not so good but i guess nothing can be done since you cant move a building. but maybe something can be done with soundproofing the rooms. as u can hear noise from outside. Overall...
Read moreAlthough perfect for business guests the place seems to gear up for noisy patrons. The loudest music ever as one walks through restaurant to get to hotel reception. Rooms are lovely and clean but dark. No bedside reading lamps. Firsts morning breakfast was prepared although somehow late and disorganised. One teapot of boiled water for coffee or tea for about ten guest. Second morning breakfast none at all. When asked at 7:45 what time it would be ready we were given cold takeaways. I assume prepared...
