We decided to take 2 days to travel to Kruger from Durban and make it a bit of a road trip. Volksrust is just about half-way between the two places and on searching the internet we found this Guest Farm. The views from the rooms looked peaceful and it was situated very close to town. ||We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Berdine who showed us to our room (en-suite). We were encouraged to walk on the farm and we spent a lovely hour birdwatching at the farm dam.||Berdine served us breakfast the following morning in a beautifully restored old building on the farm.
