Don't expect fancy expect Homely, down to earth and wild beauty like the wild coast. Don’t let the adventurous drive or the rough and rustic African route deter you—it’s all part of the charm! , the journey is absolutely worth it, and once you arrive, you'll be greeted with views and hospitality that are off the charts. Ikaya is a hidden gem, with arguably the top views in Port St John. Imagine sipping your morning coffee and heading down to a beach view ,taking in the sea, lagoon, and native bush—all at once. The host? A total pro, always ready to jump in and make your stay even more enjoyable. Need something? Just ask! The kitchen is stocked and ready for your culinary creations, the bathroom is spacious and spotless, and the chalet itself strikes that perfect balance between stylish and cozy. For the value you pay it's worth it. This place is a steal for what you get. Exceptional value, breathtaking scenery, and an experience you won't forget. If you're heading to Port St John, Ikaya is a no-brainer! We had valuables and the security is sufficient and safe *ie big vehicle with trailer enough parking. They have cctv all around. Rooms: 4/5 | Service:4/5 | Location:4/5 Phenomenal budget accommodation . Hotel highlights: Great view, great value. Practical kitchen, lekker gas hop and fire place for braai. Only suggestions we have : •Sell wood for guests or charcoal •let them don't be deceived by they poorly managed town under politics but there is good ,great accommodation and people who are resilient to thr corruption and poor munciple management🤣 Mark hats off to you and team we hope and pray for a busy season. So worth the journey to this slice of paradise.

Our stay at this beautiful self-catering cottage was simply perfect. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a stocked kitchen. The living area was comfortable, and the beds ensured we woke up refreshed every morning. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to scenic trails, charming village experiences and great fishing. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the evenings, surrounded by nature. The owners were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. This cottage exceeded all expectations, and we look forward to returning!

So my wife and I were looking for a peaceful escape from the city, and we found this absolute gem. Rustic, secluded, beach vibes, surrounded by nature, cheap… exactly what we were looking for! And prime, prime, prime location (I mean, just look at the pics I took from our rondawel)! To be honest, it’s not luxurious and there are a few improvements needed on the property, but for the price we paid we didn’t expect much more. We were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a laid-back breakaway. We will definitely be back next year, and then I’ll be packing my fishing gear and hiking boots as well. Awesome place!👌
