Linga Futhi Beach Cottages — Hotel in Port St Johns Local Municipality

Apparently, there was a mix-up, and the wrong apartment was prepared. The fridge was warm, everything was dusty or covered with sheets, there were no towels, and the place had a musty smell. Regarding the pool, I was told that the pump issue had been noticed the day before, but I find it hard to believe that a pool could turn green in such a short time.

I was offered to move to the St. Johns River Lodge, which I gladly accepted, expecting a similar cottage to my originally booked accommodation. Instead, I was placed in the room shown in photo #2—nothing like the expected level of comfort. It was not an apartment but just a single room, without a kitchen, the fridge was once again not turned on, and there was no terrace or balcony. Additionally, it was located near the kitchen and gym, making it noisy.

Although I initially felt taken seriously when the rebooking was offered, my disappointment was huge upon arrival at the new accommodation. I felt deceived multiple times.

I inquired at the new accommodation whether they had a comparable option available, and the manager confirmed that they did. The new accommodation itself is not to blame for...

Debbi was kind and very helpful - she reached out and offered information and assistance throughout our stay. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. What a bonus! The swimming pool was a life saver. We loved the location of this accommodation as well as the feel of the place. Locals selling seafood, dogs playing on the beach, cows taking a nap on the beach and the beautiful sunsets all contributed. So did the fact that we felt completely safe. A really lovely spot along the coast, with great views of the sea..,.. the spot is well kitted out….and extremely clean and comfortable ….exceeded my expectations .,,,,

Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to stay in the area, definitely better than everything...
