Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe A Total Failure on Every Level I arrived at Molori with high expectations, but my experience was one of the most disappointing — and at times unsafe — of any luxury property I’ve visited. The room I was given had no functioning bathroom light, and I actually fell in the dark at night. This was a known issue before my arrival, yet they still assigned me the room and later claimed all rooms have the same problem a completely unacceptable excuse for a so-called world-class lodge. There was no hot water, and the room’s proximity to the kitchen meant constant noise, extractor fan hum, and cooking smells, destroying any sense of peace or privacy. Service was equally appalling. When I was served undercooked fish, there was no apology or replacement just a 40-minute wait for the chef to confirm what was obvious. I was also overcharged for a 90-minute massage I never received, and the spa facilities were embarrassingly basic. The safari itself was uninspiring: the landscape flat and forgettable, the experience devoid of passion or detail. As a solo traveller, I felt invisible — no effort was made to make the stay welcoming or personal. Everything felt like a box-ticking exercise, with gimmicks replacing genuine hospitality. This review is not about price I was prepared to pay for excellence. It’s about the complete absence of safety, care, and professionalism at every turn. Molori fails not only to deliver a luxury experience, but even the fundamentals of service and quality. I cannot recommend this lodge to anyone. South Africa has many other safari properties that offer far better service, warmth, and authenticity often at a fraction of the cost.

As a travel designer , I have stayed in hundreds of safari lodges and Molori Safari Lodge is definitely regarded as top 3 in my list. It is not easy to stand out from the countless offerings, as almost every lodge provides the same offering (eg. Game viewing, great food, nice accommodation just to name a few common ones). However, Molori ranks as one of the best out there because of its highly personalised experience, ultra-luxurious suites, intimate service which is not pretentious, highly qualified guides which are extremely knowledgeable about the bush and of course the cuisine which are carefully and passionately crafted to your dietary requirements and taste. Every meal is discussed with each guest in detail, with choices suggested to provide a gastronomy experience that’s hard to match elsewhere. Kudos to the Molori Team. Thank you for an amazing experience and I must say it’s not easy to inspire me at all. But wonderful job done and I am definitely planning to come back again soon!

If you want to stay at an awesome lodge this is the place to visit. Top notch personal service. Relaxed atmosphere with only 6 suites. Each has private pools. There is a lodge pool, gym, spa, bar. Every thing is included.

We have never written a review before, but after this extraordinary stay at the lodge, we simply have to share our experience. We travel extensively across the globe and often stay at some of the world’s finest hotels – but this visit truly surpassed all of our expectations.||From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. To our surprise and delight, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to the Presidential Suite. This suite was nothing short of spectacular – an unforgettable experience in itself! The sheer space, the luxurious furnishings, and the attention to every detail were unparalleled. It felt like stepping into a dream.||Curious to see our originally booked room, we decided to take a look at it as well, and were just as impressed. While not as expansive as the Presidential Suite, it was still beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and oozed style. Every room in the lodge felt thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect blend of luxury and coziness.||The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to make our experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Whether it was the exquisite breakfasts, the personalized service, or the thoughtful touches in our room, every detail made us feel pampered and truly at home.||The concept is absolutely brilliant: each meal is served in a different, spectacular and stunning location, offering not only breathtaking views but also perfect privacy every time. Simply fantastic!||A highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the safari experience. We were lucky enough to have Jerry and Israel the apprentice guide as our guides, and they made the game drives extraordinary. Jerry’s knowledge of the wildlife and the surrounding environment was astounding, and their passion for what they do was evident in every moment. Thanks to them, we were able to spot not just the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos – but also a variety of other incredible animals. From the graceful giraffes grazing at dawn to the elusive cheetah we caught a glimpse of during one of our afternoon drives, every encounter was magical. ||The lodge’s location, its outstanding facilities, and the thoughtful design of every single detail make it a very special place. The private pool, the serene surroundings, and the inviting communal areas all contributed to a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. There are countless little details that enhance your stay and make it feel unforgettable, whether you’re enjoying a peaceful moment by the pool or exploring the breathtaking wilderness around you.||In short, we can say with complete conviction that this lodge is one of the best places we’ve ever visited. We highly recommend this extraordinary place to anyone looking for a truly special experience.||We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire team: Maxine and Henry, the Lodge Managers, Lebo, the Operations Manager, Alfred, who was always wonderful, Siduell the waiter, the incredible chefs Priscilla and Israel, Ernest and Teresa for organizing such a memorable picnic, our fantastic guides Jerry and Israel, the housekeeping team who did an impeccable job, and Lerato, who gave us one of the best massages we’ve ever...

We will miss it.|Ganz ganz großen Dank an Jerry. Wir hatten unvergessliche Tage mit Dir. Wir haben so viel mit Dir gesehen und gelernt (will miss the Amarula Coffee).|You are the best Tracker in Madikwe !!!
