Port Nolloth Beach Shack — Hotel in Richtersveld Local Municipality

Upon our arrival we waited 15 minutes for the manager to show us to our room. The room was dark and dingy and had a bad smell. The bathroom, shower and toilet had not been cleaned. When pointed out to the manager he said he would send a cleaner immediately. We waited a further 15 minutes no cleaner appeared. We called the manager again and his excuse was that the cleaner did not pitch on that day and that he would be over in 10 to 15 min to clean it himself. We waited a further 20 minutes. We did not find Port Nolloth very charming but we did find refuge in the Beach Shack. It is very rustic but tastefully decorated with awesome seaviews! We loved the smart tv and that we could cosy up and watch Netflix. The bed is comfortable and I had my best sleep there after my 2 week trip around Nambia. The shower had no water in the evening, however it was working in the morning.
