Golden Candle Guesthouse — Hotel in Roodepoort

Please don't ever book the Golden Candle in Roodepoort we have never been treated this way by an owner of a tourism place. We got here there were other guests playing music so loud we complained to the owner and his response he cant do anything about it. We get back to the room only to find the beds not made thr room not cleaned at 2.30pm in the afternoon we confronted the owner only to be told there is one set of keys 😑. We are absolutely horrifed of the condition of the room we were put in with rats outside, no air conditoners, room not being cleaned or beds made. Definetly not an option to stay at this horrifying place. We havw told him we will leave tomorrow morning he can thrn pay us back for one night and he turned around and says he does not want people like us to stay we must go because he wants to deduct a full night for today off what he owed us.This is an excuse so that he can keep our money.
