Nice By Nature Lifestyle Estate — Hotel in Roodepoort

We spent two nights at Nice by Nature on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 November 2015. I specifically requested accommodation for 3 adults on Friday night and 4 on Saturday night. When we arrived, we were initially allocated a room with a double bed and interleading room with a double bunk. As my stepson is 21, there is no way that he was going to fit onto that bed. They then opened another room next door, which had no bathroom on suite. It also had a double bed, and the 4th adult was then expected to share this bed with him - fortunately it was his sister. These two rooms also had no air conditioning, but fortunately it had cooled down somewhat. The breakfast on Saturday morning was an absolutel disaster, the hot breakfast was ice-cold, and they cleared away the cold breakfast items before we had even finished eating. This extraordinarily beautiful guesthouse combines the glorious 'getting away from it all' with attention to detail that makes your stay so luxurious. The hostess with the mostest, Shelley, whose vision has come to life in such a welcoming way, works tirelessly to ensure that your stay is a memorable one. Johan and Eugene also go above and beyond the call of duty and all the many other staff members are friendly and efficient and more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you leave wanting to return immediately. Location Getting there is not great. Having a township near and not a great road to the place are definitely negatives... but they'll disappear faster than you drove past the township when you arrive as the venue is amazing.

Room The room is great and tastefully furnished. Shower floor needs some love but nothing an afternoon of elbow grease can't fix.

Service Amazing. Everyone there goes above and beyond.

Facilities Didn't get enough time to use it, beyond a walk around but I'll definitely be back in summer to try that pool and tennis court. The library is awesome too.

Honestly a true hidden gem and worth your time...
