Kokopelli Farm — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wild Syringa cottage on Kokopelli farm and would definitely visit again. We also really appreciated that the farm and accommodation is pet-friendly - our dog loved the adventure! The cottage is beautifully decorated, cosy, clean, well equipped and has the most amazing view from the balcony and bedroom. The hiking/walking trails are lovely, quiet, peaceful and the scenery are breathtaking! Even though there are other accommodations on the farm, we felt like we had the entire area for ourselves and were able to enjoy the weekend in nature without any disturbance. We particularly appreciated the diversity of birds and insects and enjoyed studying them. Besides for the beautiful scenery and lovely stay, Allan and Elsabé were really professional, kind, helpful and hospitable, providing excellent service and ensuring us peace of mind. What a good place to reset your mind, body and soul. Stayed in the delightful Red Earth cottage such a spacious earthy accommodation. The surrounding areas were blissful and enjoying the fresh outdoors with surprise visits from adorable doggies! Allan was as refreshing as the other reviews said he'd be from being there as soon as we arrived, allowing me to take home one of his beautiful clay pots, giving our kids some clay to create master pieces and to assisting us with a sweet wine when we ran out lol! Birds galore, hiking trails an absolute treat, the fresh veg garden JUST WOW and the donkeys were the sweetest! See you soon...

What a waste of money. This place doesn't even deserve 1 stars. The place was so filthy, the fan was half working and had so much of dust on it, it seemed like it hasn't been washed for months. Carpet and couches were in absolute filth. I don't even want to think when last the beds sheets were washed. Don't be fooled by the pictures, the dam isn't for swimming as the host stated and it was totally green. What an unbearable experience!!! A TOTAL SCAM. There are so many better places to travel to for way cheaper and no one warns you about the 11km dirt road you have to travel to before getting to this filthy...
