Lovely, clean and very welcoming

The situation to the road is terrible, nice for a quick stop but would not recommend a long stay if you are looking for a quiet bush getaway

there was hot water when we arrived (something we always check) but by the time we had to wash our toddlers around 19:00 there was NO hot water at all. After reporting it, it was mentioned the water is heated via gas, there is no signage up to indicate this (we tried using it like gas but obviously the pilot had been blown out or batteries were flat), signage would cause patrons to react to cold water faster and avoid disgruntled guests.

There is an exceptionally huge amount of mosquitos, my children where literally covered in them, despite using mosquito repellent. There are no mosquito blinds on the windows, most other places we have been to provide the repellent mats or spray if they have a problem and have no blinds. There is no fan to try repel them either so either you die of heat with closed windows or face the onslaught of ww3 in the form of mosquitos. A plague of biblical proportions... I highly suggest bringing coils, room spray and cream repellents if you are coming to the area. This is not this venues problem but rather the area after big rain.

It seems the front gate stays open. I would prefer a more secure option of having the gate be closed with pressure sensors/ doorbells/ remotes etc.

We are aware this place is a work in progress and are sure it will be better if we are ever to be in...

Stayed overnight on the 6th January 2020, this was an ideal stop over. The room had everything you could ask for i.e. Kitchen with all utensils small electric stove, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, cups saucers plates knives and forks ,tea and coffee all very clean. Bathroom with shower and hot gas heated water soap and towels very nice. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a log it was spotless with extra blankets if required. There is also a wall mounted flat screen T.V. with open view DSTV you don't need to bring your card. The owner Xander is a very friendly young man who made booking in seamless. The tariff was very competitive and good value.

I would thoroughly recommend this Guest House and would not hesitate to stay over again when in the area. Thank you...

The host was friendly, though not always easy to get a hold of. The place was well located, short drive to some shops and Sun city.The actual room was in a fairly good condition and clean, except the toilet, which also had a stench coming from it. No hot water throughout our stay. Host attended to it but 5 minutes after he left there was again no hot water. The burglar bar to our room was quite a task to open.Insect repellent is a must, otherwise you'll have a very itchy stay. Unfortunately we won't ever be returning...
