Manor Hills — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

This is a lovely little place to stay at. The rooms are fully tiled and clean. There is ample cupboard space. There is a small pool and that's looks like a fun spot for the kids during the hotter months. The place is secluded and surrounded by a fence and tall shrubbery. Be aware that the rooms have no cutlery or crockery besides the cup, saucer and teaspoon. There was a microwave,bar fridge and dstv in the room. There is also good WiFi available. The included breakfast was good. I was there during a quiet time and we had the dining area to ourselves. There are some rough edges with regards to the service that caused minor inconveniences for me. Everyone was rather kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was divine. My favourite was the veggie wraps and large coffee machine. It was a bit dirty here and there, but the cleaning staff were super kind and helped as soon as possible. The room is very spacious and the tea station in the room is very generous. The gardens outside are beautiful. I spotted a few chickens and a bunny. What I didn't really like was a spider in the bed, which I found at 3am, which kept me quite awake. The bathroom shower door fell down and the mini fridge was wobbly. The clubhouse area was clean and the swimming pool should be something the managers should be proud of. Visited this lodge in November 2018, and had a wonderful stay. We arrived late in the evening, and I was worried that the staff would be mad at us, but we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff, despite arriving late. We even got a tour of the rest of the rooms within the lodge.
