Nectar Game Lodge — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

Really gorgeous scenery, right in the bush, so peaceful and perfect for late nights by the fire & looking at the stars. Beautifully kept and clean accommodation, great bathroom with a shower and bath in the family suite, comfortable beds, nice pillows, awesome swimming pool & lovely braai area (even with a pizza oven). The walk along the river is amazing but be prepared to come across baboons. Some lovely game viewing on the farm itself! Reason I gave location 4 stars is the fact that the road getting there is quite rough. (Could have been due to the recent rain, but still feel like better maintenance of the road would make the journey more pleasant) If we had not come in an SUV we would have struggled.. We were 2 couples/friends staying at Nectar Game Lodge this past weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. From the negotiations for the booking, checking in and out. Amazing hosts. Beautiful comfortable rooms with everything you need. Keep in mind, Steep walk/climb up and down to the river, could be a challenge. From there we hiked up the river and back. Beautiful hike. I would definately book again, loved it, but will just check on a next visit to share this part of the lodge with the separate rooms, with friends again. There is a lovely separate house to book as well. I think it can be a bit awkward to share the outside space and braai areas with strangers. Each room has a private entrance though. But that is just me. I prefer the privacy. 5...

Absolutely stunning. Rooms are beautiful, modern clean, comfortable and luxurious. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. Large refrigerator for longer stays.
