Mourice Lodge — Hotel in Senqu Local Municipality

Upon arrival, we we're shown 2 different rooms, but neither had water. We were shown a third room. Fantastic big screen TV, but no channels on DStv available. Open the room door and the wind caused the ceiling boards to vibrate. From Google street view, has a solid wall, but around the back no fence and a wire fence along one side, secluded area, so security didn't feel right. Mourice lodge is a true oasis in the serene dry valley approximately 30km from Sterkspruit, far from the noise and activity of the little town. We took a gamble by booking this place but it was the best decision ever. The rooms were clean and the aircon was in perfect condition. The service was excellent and the food was extremely delicious.
