Bread & Barrel Eureka Guesthouse Kimberley — Hotel in Sol Plaatje Local Municipality

My stay in Kimberley was not as expected. After traveling for hours and needing rest before my flight to Johannesburg to care for my sick father, I found the noise level from other guests to be excessive that pass my room and they said I shouted which I did NOT. When I requested them to be mindful of others, I was met with threats. The following morning, I had to locate basic items such as cups and a teaspoon. The staff seemed disinterested. The guest house's rating was not reflective of my experience.

Disgusted and disappointed from the lady who was supposed to make my stay pleasant was more interested in her cigarette outside then to check that my pillow casings and toilet was up to standard. I cleaned...

The accommodation is fantastic.Staff are very friendly. The rooms are amazing and clean, very safe and secure area. We were here for my son to play sport so it was great that we had access to a washing machine to clean his kit.

I would however not recommend getting the breakfast pack. The bread was stale and hard. Just had a bit of cheese on. None of us eat fish, so the little fish finger thing was a waste.
