If we could give 7.3 stars out of 5, we absolutely would. From the moment we arrived until we drove through the gates on our merry journey, the service was nothing short of friendly, professional, and exemplary.
Conveniently located close to the main road into Kimberley, the property offers a well-maintained, almost sanctuary-like setting.
The rooms are neat, functional, and thoughtfully designed. The fridges are ice-cold, as is the efficient air conditioning. Block-out blinds ensure complete darkness at night, while the crisp, luxurious linen tempts you to linger in the incredibly comfortable beds for as long as possible.
Not that you’ll want to, because the farm offers truly South African amenities that are hard to resist. The highlight? The “windpomp plaasdam” swimming pool, perfectly situated beside the boma. Cooling off with such a stunning view has never felt this good.
Speaking of the boma, our only "criticism" is that the braaipacks we ordered were so generous that we had leftovers for an epic roadside lunch the next day. There’s enough wood provided to fuel both a roaring spitbraai and a smaller “kantvuur,” creating that dancing flame ambiance that warms your soul.
Being a farm, nature is an ever-present guest—but even the beetles, goggas, and mozzies seem to respect the tranquil atmosphere.
Elizna and her team have set a benchmark for the hospitality industry. Their dedication to excellence in the B&B niche is undeniable. Here, a 4-star rating genuinely reflects quality, and it’s evident that they work tirelessly every day to maintain this standard for every single guest.
Without a doubt, this will be a stop on our next road trip—even if it takes us slightly(or even quite a bit)...

They were able to accommodate us at last minute and thank goodness they could because I can't think of a more welcoming, comfortable, peaceful and restful venue to have spent our night. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast with all the trimmings. The room comes with a fully stocked coffee bar including a plunger and ground coffee beans with complimentary bottled water. During loadshedding we weren't concerned as they had a generator that kicked in automatically. The bed was soft and cosy. Plenty of tv channels to choose from and an honesty bar stocked with a decent selection of wine. Our hostess Elcke was the sweetest most welcoming host. She saw to our every need and even brought an ice bucket wine and glasses to our room. I am so very happy and sad to...
