We made a last minute booking (on the day) and Nini and Pieter were super accommodating and welcoming.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and very tastefully decorated with such beautifully hand painted China and books available to read while relaxing in the garden, or on the patio or pool.

The pool was marvelous, water was a lovely temperature and it made the stay extra relaxing!

The closest shops are only 10min away but when you in the cottage it looks and feels like you very far away from any shop which makes it even more relaxing.

I forgot a few of my toddlers clothes in one of the drawers and Nini kindly folded them and kept them for me to collect. She also added a gift of little army truck toys to the bag which was the absolute sweetest thing!

We were looking for comfortable, easy living for a few days in the winelands and we could not have chosen better with the Stables at Longfield House. This is a lovely conversion and we particularly liked the elegant furniture, comfy sofas and chairs. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped and quality furnishings meant we lacked for nothing in terms of comfort and relaxation. Twice we ate on the stoep with candlelight and we spent several hours lounging by the pool so nicely located in the Olive Grove. Nini has thought of everything one could need and we appreciated the books and paintings that create such an elegant ambience. Their web site describes the garden cottage as a luxurious and comfortable self catering cottage. The sofa was unbelievably uncomfortable and we would challenge anyone to sit on it for more than half an hour (although it was a different one from the one shown on the web site pictures)|Far from being concerned, Nini, the owner made us feel it was our fault.
