The venue is very pretty, it has a great view, but it is more viewable from the cottages, which I would highly recommend over the guestrooms. The guestroom was very small and I really didn't feel that there was much privacy as the rooms were all very close together. The guestrooms at the time were also more expensive than the cottages. Luckily the lady at the front desk (who seemed to be having a bad day... for two days) allowed us to change to the 'cheaper' accommodation. We moved to the cottages which despite not having a minibar, deep soaking tub, or bathrobes, did have a full sized fridge, a lounge, fireplace, braai, etc. Basically, the cottages, which are cheaper are definitely the better choice. Read moreGroenvlei Guest Farm was conveniently situated for business we had to do in Stickland, Cape Town. The room was neatly appointed, clean, and comfortable. I was not impressed that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. Also, the bathroom door would not close - it did not fit properly in the frame. The environment was quiet, and there were no disturbances during the night.||The breakfast was tasty, but no choice for a hot meal was given. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, and toast were available, but we were not asked what we would like for our cooked meal. Two plates were simply placed on the table.||Overall, the room was comfortable, but the lack of tea and coffee in the room and the door not fitting were not what I expected from a 4-star...
