Lovane Boutique Wine Estate and Guest House — Hotel in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

We had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable nights at Lovane Boutique Wine Estate. Casper gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival and offered to carry our bags up to our room. We stayed in the Bordeaux suite which was utterly immaculate. The room was spotless and aesthetically awe inspiring, containing everything a guest could hope for, including a hairdryer, aircon, tv with dstv and streaming platforms, bar fridge, spa gowns and slippers and luxurious shampoos, conditioners and hand soaps. No detail was overlooked. The room is fitted with beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures, the most comfortable chairs and a spacious bed, linen fit for royalty and the most exquisite and rejuvenating free standing bath as well as a double shower of the finest calibre. We were also generously gifted a delicious bottle of Lovane red wine and a custom note to accompany it. The breakfasts were comprised of food of the best quality products, great coffee and tea, and the most delicious dishes freshly crafted by the friendly chefs in the kitchen. I have to just share the mOst AMAAAAZING! customer service I have ever receieved from a wine farm!....The young lady who assisted us name is Ashley and she is INCREDIBLE to say the least! Her attentiveness, knowledge and friendliness made us feel right at home. It was an extremely hot day, and without even asking us Ashley brought us some ice cold water immediately upon our seating, to help cool down before the wine tasting. She checked in on us a few times to see if we were happy and if we needed anything and even if we wanted to move inside due to the increasing heat. Now this is the type of authentic service I find brings people back....Although my husband had the wine tasting and I opted for a Tropical juice instead, because I am currently on medz, I will definitely be back to try the wine tasting with my friends, just because of Ashley's AMAZING service! Ashley really deserves a customer service award or something!

One thing I would suggest is that when customers want to to tip, that they are able to do it via their card as many customers do not carry cash with us these days as most things are digital.

We had a great time staying at the Lovane Boutique Wine Estate and Guesthouse. We stayed in a comfortable and spacious Vineyard Room which perfectly accommodated my wife and I. I really liked how the room looked out over a beautiful lawn with a backdrop of vineyards and mountains. During our stay all the staff we interacted with were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast included in our stay was fresh and full of flavour. As Lovane is a boutique winery we couldn't miss the opportunity to taste some of their wines in their atmospheric underground cellar. They predominantly focus on red cultivars, however they also have a tasty Brut to sample. I especially liked how we were allowed into the cellar area where we could look around and take some photos with the wine barrels. It is good to note that their tasting is open to the public which is a nice touch. If you are planning to stay here, they do have a pool area as well, for those hot summer days.
