My second visit to Lamor Guesthouse and I was warmly welcomed like an old friend returning to visit. The hosts (Dewetia and Gert-Jan) are truly excellent hosts who ensured that my every need was seen to.||||During my initial stay at Lamor - I was truly impressed by the manner in which the Guesthouse perfectly suited the needs of the business person (spacious desk tops / multiple plugs etc).||||Visiting the establishment during winter - Dewetia recommended that I rather try one of their newly upgraded rooms which has a bath! Beautifully decorated and spacious room, modern furnishings, a large desk top , comfortable office type leather chair that adjusts to your needs, a huge flat screen TV etc)||||The bathroom is breathtaking - (spacious with both shower and Cleopatra bath) I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the bath - and getting into a warm bed with electric blankets.||||Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable!||||Lamor comes highly recommended! I stayed at this place over 20 times . I felt I was handled in a very inexperience and rude manner . Neither was I consulted nor asked if I spilled anything on the sheets . Upon arrival i was just handed a very inflated bill to what I felt was a staff error of over bleaching sheets . The proper manner would've been to investigate what could that stain have been as it was clearly on the bed upon arrival . However we seen it was a old stain on sheets that were clean. I highly doubt the sheets were inspected before been placed on the bed as the owners were away on holiday . We were very warmly welcomed by the team at Lamor Guest House! We traveled as a family, with our child, and they provided us with two rooms — separate, but with a connecting door. Very well decorated, and the surrounding environment is extremely beautiful! The rooms were in excellent condition, except for the thermal insulation, which wasn’t really a problem since the room has heating and the beds come with plenty of warm blankets (they even have foot warmers in the bed).
