On route from Cape Town to Plett we stayed one night at this beautiful guesthouse. Check in was easy and the hosts were absolutely welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse has a beautiful garden with pool where you can spend a lazy day if you're not out and about. The family room with baby bed was an added bonus! But our highlight must have been the breakfast. Set in the open kitchen and dining room we were served a delicious breakfast with hot option and cold platter. The guesthouse has secure parking and is situated close to the main street and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would have liked to stay longer. Read moreI was not impressed after our visit. The bed is a queensize model, good matress and pillows. The room was advertised with bath - did not discover the bath - and airco which is in fact a fan on the ceiling that makes a hell of noise during the whole night. No sanitary bag (empty!) and no bag in the trash bin. Small details that make a difference esp. when there is a huge offer of B&B's in Swellendam.|Breakfast is limited: 2 toasts pp is standard, a 3rd piece is available on request. Eggs and bacon if you want them (ok !)|Website should mention that there are 2 dogs. This is more important than telling that there is toilet...
