What an absolute gem of a place. Marius sure knows how to make one feel welcome. Enjoyed having my sons 20th birthday here and Marius helped with everything from accommodation to food to hiring a band.

In the heart of the Karoo near Barrydale .. the Karoo Saloon makes for an awesome bike adventure or even a road trip with the kids .. family friendly.

Friendly staff and owner is always around. Well prepared food with a unique taste. Service was quick and the food very tasty... I had malva pudding with ice cream - to die for. We also had a free show of a boomslang coming to look for bird eggs in one of the thorn trees. I like the atmosphere of this place and we will surely be back for more... They also have live bands playing on Saturday nights with accommodation for those who don't want to drive home. Excellent !! Well...
