To Start, Please Note that the Owner or Management have No idea that I am about to Post this Review and that I have not in anyway been treated favors or discounts to give them a great review. They have not even asked Me to make a review for them. We booked in as ordinary clients.||||Also take Note!! You should push aside what you have read from some reviews stated and have a good look and reed on what i am about to say.||||I cannot believe some of their Non 5 Star reviews seen on this page. ||Nor can I believe that they have such few reviews!||||As a Tour Operator staying at several different accommodations on a weekly basis, I value the importance of an accurate review and feel the importance of praising a well deserved establishment when i have come across one.||||I and my clients stayed at Bohm's Zeederberg Country House in January.||This was my first visit to Bohm's Zeerderberg and we were (Sadly) only booked in for 1 night there. ||||I was not expecting this Country House to be the Highlight Accommodation Location of our entire 6 Night Kruger and Panorama Route adventure. Brilliant Brilliant!!||||Zeerderberg House was about 20min drive from Sabie, an ideal location if travelling to Panorama Route or Kruger. It would also be ideal to base Yourself there for a couple of days and travel out to all attractions from there. ||||Attractions nearby, Go see Mac Mac Falls, Lone Creek Falls, Lisban Falls, Pinnacle Rock, God's Window, Lourke Luck Potholes, Sabie Town, Pilgrems Rest and Kruger National Park just to name a few while being based at Zeerderberg House. ||||The Accommodation: ||||Rustic Main House!! Is Correct! ||But no reason to give them anything less than 5 stars for that. It is a Stunning Rustic House!! You could easily Picture it being a Popular Heritage House in the the Late district of England. Some Modern Homes Pay Double the amount of money to make their home look more rustic and Mid evil such as the spectacular House! It Has Beautiful Stone and Brick work, Huge Wooden Large doors and window frames. Beautiful Lounge, Massive Fire Place, Great Patio, Very well decoded and a great warm home feeling.||||Rooms: All Very Private and separate from the main House. ||I find it hard to believe on what has been said on other reviews. Stunning Bedrooms, Very Luxurious with King-size Beds both in My rooms as well as clients. The Linen was Top Notch. The Bathrooms very stunning. They have Heating and Coolants. And I think they have as Many as 10 Unit's that can sleep over 20 People.||||The Views: Wow Wow Wow, The Rooms have a Stunning view overlooking the Forrest and Mountain Hill. It was really like a little Paradise. ||||The Gardens and Property: ||Again I am in disbelief in what i have read from some other reviews. The Gardens were stunning!! Flowers everywhere!! This Beautiful Green Moss growing over all the walls makes it look so beautiful. a Stunning Chapel in the Middle of the very Large Gardens perfect for that romantic wedding, a very Large well cleaned Pool with a great view and shade cover, the gardens also had stunning large trees everywhere.||||The Food: ||5 Stars!! 3 Source Meal and We all loved all of it!! Very well Cooked, fantastic presentation, and really Tasty. You could imagine sitting at a famous restaurant the quality was that good. ||||The Staff and Service:||Brilliant Brilliant! So super friendly staff, The Manager (a great Guy) spend a good amount of time telling us the fascinating History of this very Old Historical looking House and the History of the Interesting Lady Owner. He was very friendly and informative. The Grounds Staff are very friendly and all greet you when they walk past. The waiters at Dinner and Breakfast were Fantastic and served with great Smiles and were very well presented. ||||Location:||Perfect, Near Sabie and Kruger. Hidden down a Beautiful Valley with not a Neighboring House to be seen. ||||This Place does not deserve some of the reviews it has received before!||It is a Real Gem and was our Highlight of our Tour Trip!||||My Only regrets was that we were only booked to stay there for 1 night and next time would def book for more nights.||||The other regret is that I did not take Pictures of this great establishment. (With a long day of attractions stops we arrived there very tired late and left early for our next day's planed attractions in the morning not really having the time to take pictures apart from a refreshing morning walk around the property)||||Well Done Bohm's Zeederberg!! Well Deserved review and a New Tour Operator that would be back for Future travels!!||||I Highly Highly recommend staying here if passing nearby to the Kruger or Panorama Route!!||||Many Thanks again Staff||Tour...
Read moreDuring our private tour with a guide of the area, we stayed here one night. We had excellent service as our guide is a regular. |Our room, No. 5, was spacious and nicely decorated. However we did struggle to unlock the second (metal) door as there was no outside light (we arrived late). |Included in the room was a fridge, kettle, coffee plunger, but only instant coffee, powdered milk and tea bags. In the bathroom, soap is provided but no shampoo etc. A large bottle of water was provided as it was recommended not to drink the tap water. |The only wifi is in the main building and has to be bought (39 rand).|We had a nice three course meal and tried some of the recommended wine (R33 & 37). They were very full glasses so we thought good value. Vegetarian meals are catered for on request. Breakfast was a buffet including cereal, fruit, yoghurt, muffins, scones, corn fritters, scrambled eggs, bacon and more.|The grounds are lovely and it was very peaceful. We found the staff generally very friendly.|I...
Read moreSpent one night here between Vic Falls and Sabi Sands safari. Highlights: nice rustic main house with wood-burning fireplace in the common room, quality home-made dinner, scenic location. The rest: decrepit rooms with dirty and torn pillowcases, tread-bare towels and linens washed a million times, clogged shower drain, very small hot water tank in a supposedly family-friendly 2-bedroon suite (not enough for 3 showers), abandoned tennis court with cracked asphalt surface and cut-off stubs of metal net posts. We were forced into the 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom suite in the mostly empty property despite our travel agent booking and pre-paying for 2 separate rooms.||||The owner came late at night to replace the bed linens and work on the shower drain, and at check-out in the morning they didn't charge us for the couple of dollars worth of wine we had with dinner as a form of compensation - this is where the second...
