Dear Debs and Bob,||On behalf of my entire family, I want to extend our deepest thanks for the incredible hospitality you showed us during our recent stay on your beautiful Trout farm.||From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. Your beautifully decorated guest house, nestled between the majestic mountains and woods, was an absolute treat — and that view is truly one to die for. It was a privilege to enjoy such comfort and charm in such a serene setting.||We especially appreciated the time you took to share local insights, explain the area, and suggest day trips — we followed every one of your recommendations and enjoyed them all! Your spot really is ideally located for exploring everything Mpumalanga and the surrounding region has to offer.||A special thanks for always having the fireplace warm and inviting when we returned home after a day out — it made all the difference and added such a homely touch to our stay. This was our favorite stop on our way back to white River from our wedding venue in Limpopo, friendly and helpful welcome from Elsie, the owner also made an effort to meet us and was also very welcoming, the pitbull became a dear friend to us with in the first hour, she showed us the way on the beautiful walking trail and made sure we laughed all the way with silly things she did, like diving into a molehill with her face, or after loosing her stick in a playful battle with the Labrador she decided to pick one from a tree, made a sudden stop walked to a nearby tree and hanged on a dead branch until she broke it down and then walked with the big branch, the room was very romantic and comfortable the view was breathtaking all around us and we felt so much at home!! I just love going here. It is the most beautiful family running the lodge and they really go above and beyond to help you with anything you need.

The surroundings are beautiful and the farm itself is the most peaceful place I have seen in a while!

Anybody who says there isn't much to do obviously doesn't know what he is talking about! There is so much to do you need about 2 weeks to get to all the activities! Fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking trails, awesome entertainment area for the family, bird watching and swimming.
