It was a spur of the moment weekend trip. No planned route, no bookings, just the open road and a sense of calm to get away from the city and the hectic schedules. Ithaba Falls came up on a search as we were driving and the the decor and facilities immediately caught our attention, and we were not disappointed. Everything is presented beautifully through the Moroccan inspired themes and you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Ithaba is situated on a working citrus farm with big open spaces and the views of the surrounding mountains are spectacular. Read moreOur travelling group of 7 friends had a great stay at this wonderful property. The spacious rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The chef is very good and we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. It was great to explore the extensive grounds and observe the farm with its game species. Read moreThe only thing you get there is a view, the service is was horrible, when you managed to find staff they were unhelpful and unfriendly. Food was mediocre and overall everything was over priced. The process of actually getting the booking done was such a stressful process as we would not hear anything from the owner for months on end after paying exorbitant amounts of money. I will never go back as there are so many nicer more affordable places with friendly staff around...
