I recently had an extraordinary experience at a lodge that exceeded my expectations in every aspect! Nestled amidst breathtaking surroundings, the lodge boasts giraffes roaming freely in the garden, enhancing the stay with an unforgettable wildlife encounter. With blessboks, niyalas, and zebras also wandering the grounds, it offers a genuine safari experience right at your doorstep.

The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, making me feel instantly at home. The owners went out of their way to ensure my stay was memorable, adding a personal touch that made all the difference.

What truly distinguishes this lodge is its off-the-grid status. Free from the frustrations of power outages often encountered in South Africa, it was a refreshing experience to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle and immerse myself in the tranquility of nature.

Perched atop a hill, the lodge's location offers breathtaking panoramic views that left me in awe. The landscape unfolding before me was simply spectacular, making every moment spent there truly magical.

Moreover, the lodge provides opportunities to embark on thrilling trips through the nearby Marakele Park. This incredible park offers unparalleled wildlife encounters in their natural habitat, adding another layer of excitement to the stay.

Absolutely incredible. I have stayed at Cypiro Leopard lodge four times now. Each time in different accommodation. Hacienda is my absolute favourite as the animals meander across the lawns all day which is incredible to watch. We even had giraffes and zebra drinking out of a pool! The accommodation is beautifully designed and luxurious. My most recent stay I took my mum for some r&r after surgery. We stayed in The Manor House which is incredibly luxurious with huge amounts of space and stunning furnishings. We had the absolute treat of an in-house chef who catered to our every need. Stunning freshly baked breads and pastries 🥐 in the mornings, fantastic sushi 🍣 and superb 3 course evening meals. Walks around the grounds were both therapeutic and exciting with up close proximity to Zebra, giraffes 🦒, sable antelope, golden wildebeest and many many others. We did 2 guided game drives in Marakele National Park which is absolutely stunning with spectacular Mountain View's and sunsets. The trucks picked us up and dropped us off at our front door, again exceptional service. The owners of Cypiro are wonderful hosts who stop at nothing to ensure their guests have an out of this world African bush experience. We will miss them and their beautiful dogs. Until next time!
