We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the cottages at Wildekrans. The cottages are very comfortable with two bedrooms, open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The outside verandah has great views of the surrounding mountains and a nice fireplace. The whole place and views are really beautiful. The staff were all superb and so friendly. We had dinner on one of the nights at Forage restaurant which was out of this world and is highly recommended. Their 2 course menu for R254 is fantastic value for the whole dining experience. You can only drink Wildekrans wines at the restaurant so a good tip is to go for wine tasting before lunch or dinner and purchase yourself a bottle as the restaurant does not charge corkage on their own wines. Breakfasts were also very good. You can taste all Wildekrans wines at the tasting room either on the relaxing front verandah, the front lawn or inside by the fire. The wine tasting room also has a restaurant which does great pizzas and waterblommetjie stew. All of this is within easy walking distance of the cottages. There are also good wineries in the area worth visiting such as Paul Cluver, Beaumont, Luddite, Goedvertrouw and Gabrielskloof. In town, Manny's restaurant serves fantastic prawns and Portuguese chicken and The Shuntin Shed is also a good dining options or place for a drink.

Lovely farm stay in very well maintained cottages with complete self-catering amenities. Cottages are close to each other but still offer sufficient privacy. Breakfast was exceptional (table sharing style for cold items, and plated off menu for hot) and will certainly bring me back. Kids enjoyed running around the lawns and had it been hotter, we would have enjoyed the pool. Some traffic noise from N2 but only noticeable when outside.

Large a very tastefully decorated cottages, with large and comfortable beds, patios with bbq possibilities, and all comforts around (two restaurants, wine tasting), beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff. Love it!

We were looking forward to Wildekrans - but we were disappointed||Pretty bungalow from the outside - from inside the main room is spacious, toilet and bathroom are clean, but extremely crampted. The tasting was ok. The high-quality barrique wines were professionally served.|The dinner in the restaurant was a big disappointment. The menu only included the simple wines by the glass. We booked the “Endless vineyard” with dinner on Friday especially because of the high-quality wines aged in barriques and were really looking forward to enjoying these wines there with dinner. However, it was not possible to replace the simple wines included in the dinner with barrique-aged wines, even by paying extra, even though these wines were open to the tasting. The restaurant appeared to us inflexible and not professionally run. On our wine tour through South Africa, the Wildekrans restaurant was our biggest disappointment. Guests also come to a winery because of their special wines, and these should also be available by glass in the...

What an absolute find! We had such a wonderful time at Endless Vineyards Boutique Lodge at Wildekrans Wine Estate. Besides being easy to find, the setting and facilities are lovely; the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable (and a special mention needs to go to Meché, Jo, Emma, Tatenda, Marklord, Gordon, Jasmine and Meagan for going the extra mile); and the breakfast that was included in our booking was simply divine! We also had a riding lesson with Alicia Fourie with Wildekrans Equestrian and she was pure magic with our toddler. Thanks, Wildekrans - we hope to see...
